Matthew Teague has an impressive working history within the steel industry spanning 22 years. As an architect, Matthew's work centres around how we, as manufacturers of steel construction products, can respond to our customer requirements in a rapidly changing sector and how design decisions can optimise outcomes on-site, during the project's lifetime, including end-of-life reuse and recycling.

Before joining Tata Steel (then Corus), Matthew was an architect in private practice specialising in housing and spent some time at London Transport as the Design Manager for Environments.

Recently he has been involved in projects where Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) has been employed – rather than more traditional methods of building procurement and construction – and continues to work and invest in this field.

Matthew and his family live in London, with both children now at university. Matthew builds bicycles outside of the working week (also from steel) and is even occasionally known to ride them.

Nicola Moriarty is a Director at Bryden Wood, a global company of creative technologists, designers, architects, engineers and analysts. She is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry, leading teams on many multi-disciplinary projects from conception to completion. She has a passion for DfMA and how this approach can lead to the successful delivery of projects. She was involved in the early forms of DfMA in the volumetric modular approach to student accommodation and, more recently, on The Forge, where a combination of P-DfMA and other MMC approaches have been implemented on this ground-breaking commercial development for Landsec.

Nicola is a keen walker and skier along with recently developing a passion for sailing - a hobby that lends itself nicely to her other love, travelling.

Nick Coubray, CEO of Howick, is the driver in the company’s pursuit of innovation. He is the third generation of the Coubrays to champion this family-owned business and has been involved in framing technology and industry development since his late teens.

After earning his stripes on the shop floor assembling machines, Nick went on to head Howick’s UK office for seven years, laying the groundwork which established the UK & Europe as Howick’s largest export markets. He has also spent significant time with US-based customers, and has taken the lead in a number of collaborative R&D projects, which eventually became customer feedback led standard features across the industry.

Nick has developed a deep understanding of the global construction industry and technology across Howick’s global user base - from simple construction projects to high-tech installations. His focus now is on driving Howick's team to continue to evolve technologies for better building and in advocating for more efficient and sustainable construction practices throughout the industry.

Chun Qing Li (AKA Lee) is an award-winning entrepreneur and the founder and principal of the KREOD group of companies. He is a Vice-Chairman of the City of London Westminster Conservative Association Chinese Group as well as a committee member of for the Conservative West End Ward and International Board Member of Creative Industries Federation.

KREOD is a visionary brand of pioneering transdisciplinary architectural design, innovation, technology and development companies. Defining what they do as 'Digital Master Builders', KREOD developed the Integrated Design for Manufacture and Assembly Intelligent Automation (KIDIA) application/software to create changes in AEC industries. Founded by Chun Qing Li in 2012 and based in London, team members come from a range of diverse cultural, educational and geographic backgrounds and work in a highly dynamic professional environment.
